A FTI Magnetic Drive Centrifugal Pumps uses a balanced magnetic field to create the rotation of the fluid impeller. Unlike a traditional centrifugal pump which has a direct drive connection between impeller and motor, a mag-drive pump eliminates the direct drive mechanism and replaces it with a magnetic field.

The DB series (flooded suction)
DB series FTI magnetic drive pump is the new standard for hydraulic efficiency and corrosive fluid handling. The exclusive SP series combine deep-lift capabilities (up to 25 feet/7.6 meters) and lightning-fast priming (18 feet/ 5.5 meters in 90 seconds) with the advantages of magnetic drive technology-ensuring ease of operation with no seal replacement, no leaks and the capability to run dry without damage.
